What We Believe
We believe, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” We believe the Lord Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, "took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men", was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; the third day He rose from the dead; sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
We believe “by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Eph 2:8-9).
We believe in the ordinances of baptism and communion, and marriage as the sacred uniting of one biological male and one biological female, for life. We believe the follower of Jesus is to live a holy, sanctified life and that sexual intimacy is to be reserved and expressed only within the bonds of a sacred marriage.
We believe in the communion of the saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
We believe in the Great Commission; to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the uttermost parts of the earth. Amen.
