PROGRAM SCOPE & OVERVIEW
Our singular graduate degree is a specialized Masters in Ministry (M.Min) degree with a special focus on the ministry of community development. This program is designed to prepare leaders for ministry in multi-cultural or cross-cultural leadership positions that positively impact the community to which you are called.
The classes are intended to meet or exceed level 5000 coursework and is delivered through both in-person and digital platform venues. Each three-credit class is equivalent to approximately 112.5-125 hours of dedicated learning/study time. The time needed may be higher for non-native English speakers.
With a current trend for M.Div and MRE education, this institute has chosen to offer a specialty focus within the M.Min track, which tends toward practical applications of knowledge with less focus on biblical studies in the original Greek and Hebrew.
Choose your area of concentration based on your calling and context.
Areas of Concentration (Specialization)
Our M.Min. program is focused yet flexible when it comes to the control and direction of your studies. With just thirty credit hours required for completion, the program is divided into twenty-one core hours, plus nine credit hours (elective and capstone program) that inherently align with your preferred area of concentration (specialization).
Option 1: GLOBAL LEADERSHIP
In the gospel of Matthew, the Lord Jesus called his disciples to go into all the world, and this concentration seeks to develop those called to leading multi-cultural endeavors at home or abroad. This concentration is ideal for mission organization administrators and those seeking to serve in community ministry leadership roles.
Option 2: HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT
This concentration is ideal for mission organization administrators or those who fulfill their calling through medical mission initiatives. This is also a pathway for medical chaplains who are seeking to serve in community ministry leadership roles.
Option 3: DIASPORA CARE
The Epistle of First Peter was written to the “scattered”, or in Greek, the “diaspora”. Our diaspora concentration trains believers to minister to people groups living outside their native environments. Our institute’s passion for those in need of godly compassion is reflected in this Diaspora Care concentration. This is an excellent concentration choice for those with a heart for refugee care, immigrant ministries, and international student care ministries.
We are one of the only institutes in the world that makes a singular graduate program focus on the Ministry of Community Development, with concentrations in global leadership, healthcare management, and diaspora care.
